Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)

GATE-identified students are clustered within the mainstream classrooms at Topaz Elementary. These students are provided additional enrichment opportunities during school hours. Our goal is to challenge our students so that each can develop his/her own potential.

Student, parent, and teacher input is used to determine areas of strength and to set goals for the school year. GATE students are given the opportunity to work at an accelerated pace in order to meet their individual needs.
